Monday, June 29th South Florida High School Sports Radio Show

One of the most popular radio shows of its kind is back on Monday night this week for two hours and welcomed in a few coaches and players locally as well as looked at the University of Miami football and summer offensive/defensive line camps on 104.3 FM – WQAM.

Each week, the FM 104.3 WQAM radio program attracts the newsmakers in high school sports, recruiting college sports – not only locally, but throughout the country.

The show gives listeners an opportunity to hear about college football programs statewide from the media that cover them. It also focuses on the coaches who use the state of Florida – Miami-Dade and Broward Counties in particular.

The program, which has been run for nearly two decades and has been recognized nationally as one of the best of its kind, has become a popular listen for recruiting fans as well as high school sports purists, focusing on high sports and the newsmakers.

Here is a look at the way Monday night went:

When it comes to teaching, developing and exposing his athletes to college coaches, there are very few better than Sunrise Piper head football coach Quentin Short. This summer, he took many of his players to camps and visited colleges and universities to give those student/athletes a huge advantage.

When it comes to the offensive and defensive line positions, it is no longer an afterthought for coaches. Because of teachers/instructors like Jordan Budwig from “5 Star Studs Lineman”, the focus is now squarely on the “big men” – with camps and individual sessions.
