Pembroke Pines Charter Continues To Build, Develop Football Players

After his first season as head coach at Pembroke Pines Charter, head football coach Carl Toussaint fully understands what is ahead for his program.

In a south Florida landscape where winning trophies have taken the place of old school football, Toussaint is using plenty of his military training to build this program into a competitive team where teaching and learning fundamentals of the game have become a priority.

Even in a year where the Jaguars finished 2-8, lessons were learned and prospects had their opportunity to play and learn the game firsthand.

With spring beginning within the next two weeks, the objective is to continue teaching and helping to develop talent that has been using this off-season for improvement and valuable experience.

Speaking of valuable experience, this rising senior (2027) class is all about getting exposure, and while it’s fashionable to continue to transfer programs, the reality is that Pines Charter will offer more in the way of exposure and on-the-job training for many of these gifted players looking for a chance to improve and showcase their skills.

At a time when other south Florida programs are offering a winning atmosphere, Pines Charter is giving their student/athletes a solid environment – on and off of the playing field.

With key returnees from last year – such as Josiah Knight, Gabriel Toussaint, Jahsai Juste, Dylan Jones and Jaden Balthazar, this team has some built-in producers.
