THE SCOOP

When you look back at the 2021 season, you will notice that this team made some major strides.

While making the playoffs was certainly a goal at the start of the season, this team not only reached the post season, but beat Estero (37-0) in the opening round.

While losses to powerhouse 4A state champion Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons (37-8), Miramar (21-0), 3A state champion Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna (51-0) and the always tough Plantation American Heritage (35-0) in the regular season – and to then unbeaten Miami Killian (37-0) in the second round of the playoffs were tough, this team focused on the positives.

Wins against Coral Springs Taravella (44-0), Hallandale (54-6), Lauderdale Lakes Boyd Anderson (40-0), Jensen Beach (20-6), Boynton Beach (26-7) and longtime rival Fort Lauderdale (36-0) showed that this is a program that has the potential to do some impressive things in 2022.
