(Overtown -- Miami, FL) - The 2020 novel coronavirus pandemic forced a nationwide isolation, and collectively we witnessed many polarizing events across the country. We saw the suspension of professional sports, extracurricular sporting events, and a number of limitations placed on indoor dining and travel. These were some of the more tolerable truths.
We also saw a surge in intolerable truths, a surge of carnage and violence within communities of color. During this year without sports our beloved communities saw an increase in the number of youth exposed to, and those who have fallen victim to gun violence. Sports has long been a safe haven, a time of neighborhood pride for student athletes, families and the community.

SANDVIPER (launched in 2016) headquartered in Miami, Fl is a new athletic wear brand that was initially inspired by the need to provide beach/sand athletes with a shoe that is lightweight with sneaker-like support and cushioning – along with a patent-pending design that provides a completely sand-free experience keeping all sand and materials out of the shoe. Our initial strategy is to build our brand around the sand/beach training niche while gradually growing into a multi-disciplined athletic footwear, apparel and accessories company.
We have begun working with our local South Florida community schools (Hollywood Hills H.S., etc) and will be building new products to include football cleats. We are in the process of gathering critical feedback from our local players/schools to help us build the best cleats possible. The link accompanying this overview of our company contains a brief 6 question survey. We would greatly appreciate your participation! Thank you in advance!!
